The North Dakota Governors’ Cup takes place July 27-28, 2026 in Medora, ND! The event will welcome business professionals and leaders from across the country to experience the magic of Medora, participate in Tuesday’s outings, and an exquisite closing reception, where a final donation check will be announced for ND Career Builders.

The Monday Night Social at Tjaden Terrace kicks off the evening with breathtaking scenery and great company. Join us at the Tjaden Terrace, perched high above the historic town of Medora, for an open-air reception featuring heavy appetizers and beverages. You will enjoy sweeping views of the North Dakota Badlands and the Little Missouri River while networking in a relaxed atmosphere. The evening will transition into a short program. Registered guests will be able to choose from one of the 2026 exclusive experiences on Tuesday, July 28. Participants can choose from a golf tournament at either Bully Pulpit or Pheasant Country Golf Course, or a soon to be announced shooting experience. Each will have their own breakfast, lunch and drinks provided. Learn more about our experiences below. General Golf Tournament Information: Teams will play in an 18-hole scramble competing for prizes. No matter your skill, golfers will have a great time hitting the links with their team. A winner from each course will be crowned, with additional prizes to be awarded to participants with the longest drive, longest putt, and closest to the pin. Prizes will be awarded during the Closing Reception on Tuesday evening.

Whether you’re a seasoned shooter or trying it for the first time, attendees will take to the course for a clay shooting competition. Beginners will train 5-stand and skeet shooting, before taking on the course. Expert marksmen will enjoy a practice competition in the morning, then compete for prizes for the top marksmen in each event, as well as the top overall shooter. These prizes will be presented during the Closing Reception on Tuesday.

The exclusive Tuesday Night Social will be held at the spectacular new Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library. This social site offers a prime opportunity for networking amidst the backdrop of North Dakota’s newest landmark. You will enjoy a curated menu featuring a carving station, grazing table, heavy appetizers, and beverages. The evening will also include a short program, highlighted by the formal presentation of the Career Builders check to celebrate our future in the workforce. More information to come.

Bismarck State College catering services provides a pulled pork slider on a Baker Boy bun, and a combination of a brat and sausage pasta dish. All the meat comes from locally sourced ranchers in North Dakota.
The program will include recognition and prizes for Tuesday morning’s activities, final announcements, closing remarks, and a check presentation to the ND Career Builders Scholarship & Loan Repayment Program. Stay till the end for an important announcement from a special guest.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is available for all attendees via charter buses and a trolley during all events.
Monday, July 22nd
Attendees staying at Brewhalla can use a trolley that takes them to and from Broadway Square and Jasper Hotel starting at 4:30 PM. Our other host hotels are within walking distance of the venue.
Following the reception, the trolley will be available to attendees to provide transportation back to their partner hotels starting at 8 PM until 10:15 PM.
Tuesday, July 23rd
Attendees can drive themselves or depart by charter bus from one of our four partner hotels to the respective activity location
- Golf charter bus departure time is 7 AM
- Shooting Park charter bus departure time is 7:30 AM
- Busses will depart the tournaments following the conclusion of the experiences (approx. 3 PM)
- Busses will provide return transportation for attendees from Brewhalla Tuesday night, running until 10:30 PM
