Attending the North Dakota Governors' Cup
The ND Governors' Cup brings together North Dakota's industry and government relations community for two days of connection and conversation. This year's event is centered in Medora, with experiences across Bully Pulpit Golf Course, Pheasant Country Golf Course, the Burning Hills Amphitheater, and the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library. Attendees include senior leaders from companies like ConocoPhillips, Chevron, Devon Energy, Sanford Health, Google, and Chord Energy, among others.
The event benefits the ND Career Builders Scholarship and Loan Repayment Program, with proceeds going directly toward growing and retaining talent in North Dakota. In 2025, the Governors' Cup donated $130,000 to the program, with a goal of $200,000 in 2026.
We intentionally keep our public official guest list small because the goal is genuine time with the people in the room, not a packed agenda. We'd love to have you at the table.
Fair Market Value attendance: In compliance with North Dakota Ethics Commission rules and Article XIV, Section 2 of the North Dakota Constitution, public officials may attend the event by paying Fair Market Value (FMV). Select the option below that best fits your schedule.

North Dakota Constitution on gifts
In Article XIV, Section 2, the North Dakota Constitution prohibits gifts from lobbyists to public officials, including gifts of travel or recreation. However, the provision specifically excludes things of value given in exchange for Fair Market consideration. The pricing above reflects FMV for each option.
How is Fair Market Value determined?
FMV for each option is anchored to comparable retail pricing: published greens fees and tournament packages for golf, guided outfitter rates for sporting clays and prairie dog hunting, comparable private rail charter rates for the train experience, and per-person food, beverage, and venue cost for the receptions and luncheon.
How do I pay?
Registration is completed below. Payments can be made by credit card through Square or by check made out to The ND Governors' Cup. If you select check, a member of our team will send an invoice within 48 hours.
