The North Dakota Governors’ Cup: investing in North Dakota talent. Established in 2024, the North Dakota Governors’ Cup raises funds for the ND Career Builders Scholarship & Loan Repayment Program — helping qualified workers build their futures right here in North Dakota. Proceeds from the Governors’ Cup event go directly toward this mission, supporting our state’s efforts to grow, attract, and retain talent.
- Raised $130,000 for ND Career Builders Scholarship & Loan Repayment Program in 2025.
- Since 2024, over $500,000 has been raised after state match to retain and attract recent graduates in high-demand fields
- Impact so far:
- 75% of the dollars were used for loan repayment, creating an immediate impact on the workforce by helping businesses attract new employees.
- 25% of the dollars were used for scholarships, offering students access to educational opportunities that align with in-demand career fields in North Dakota.
